SPQR, Stuyvesant’s Premier Class Reunion/ Makes sense to me.
Hey, Guys! Imagine, half a century ago we were at Old Stuy. That was also 90 pounds ago. The morning run has been replaced by the third morning stroll to the bathroom. Some days, I do it without the cane. My collective consciousness has focused instead on the cerebral, writing prose and poetry, several of which were offered at earlier reunions. That’s me at Old Stuy for the last open mike, closest to the camera, wearing a blue and white shirt.
Hope to see all of you at the 50th. Be there, or be a rhomboid!

So many thanks to so many folks who made this reunion and all the past ones a huge success. Renee and I had a wonderful time with wonderful folks. Only truly sad part was goinhg thru the “In Memorium” list and seeing so many old friends.

Greetings to all! I’m alive and well, now living in Surprise, Arizona. Retired ESL teacher, NYC BOE; Retired Federal Reserve Bank of NY employee; Retired Lieutenant colonel in USAR. Thanks for the memories!
I enjoyed my time at Stuy. Mr. Atkins in math with extra credit problems on the weekend (prove that if the sum of the digits is divisible by 9 …), Mr. Nack spelling out SINE so it wouldn’t be confused with “sign”. Even doing my homework on the subway. Mechanical drawing — the most us useful skill! Learned how to climb a rope holding on by wrapping around my foot (never had to do that in real life). Playing the clarinet in school band at Carnegie Hall!
